Since 1997 I have been a remedial therapist-Mensendieck in Eindhoven at the locations Strijp-S and Airbornelaan, Health Centre Airborne. Remedial therapy is a great way of understanding the physical problems better through the body and learning how to eliminate and prevent these ailments. By letting people experience personally how they can influence their own health and vitality positively, pain symptoms and discomfort reduce. I can help them to obtain this using different treatment techniques.
I combine my work as a therapist with my work in and for companies in areas like RSI prevention and physical overstrain. In my work I guide a lot of people suffering from stress related problems and burnout.
Moreover I guide people with stress related problems.
Using knowledge from my fields of business administration and therapist I advise companies in the area of healthy working conditions (Sens in company). We operate mainly in and around Eindhoven. We carry out a large health programme at the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven and see many expats in our practise. Our training and therapy is offered in both English and Dutch.
I work as a remedial therapist at Sens beweegt je Strijp-S and Airbornelaan, health centre Airborne, both in Eindhoven.
The broad view of a client with a request for help and certain symptoms suits me well as a remedial therapist.
Often it is the little things like practical tips and exercises that make the difference for a client! I feel challenged every day to encourage and motivate young and old to healthy physical activity, helping them diminish their symptoms. I reinforce my treatments with, among others, sports massages and medical tape.
In my work as a sleep therapist I look for the aspects, during both the day and night, that cause sleeping problems. It complements my work as a remedial therapist nicely. Expertise
After my study HTS-Business Management I worked for 15 years in the business world in various commercial positions in the fashion industry. In 2003 I decided to make a switch in my career because I wanted more depth in my work. As a Psychodynamic Therapist I now work as a therapist, coach and trainer. I work positively, intuitively and solution-oriented.
My specializations are:
Stress and burnout prevention
Communication and feedback
Since 2011, I have been accredited as an Insights Discovery Practitioner. Insights Discovery provides insight into qualities, pitfalls, behaviour, communication and preferred style of working for yourself and others. This will allow you to connect better and increase your effectiveness.
In recent years I have also done many refresher courses and completed courses such as ACT, Mindfulness and Biographical coaching.
With this tool box I can guide individuals and organizations in their development. The combination of coaching and training provides the depth that I like to work with.
Since 2010 I have enjoyed working as a Cesar remedial therapist. I always see it as a challenge to use posture corrections, exercises and tips to encourage people to reduce their complaints themselves. I am a committed therapist and I find real personal contact very important in my approach and treatment. Patients often tell me they really feel seen and heard. As a therapist, I walk next to you on the road to recovery, we walk it together.
In the practice I see many patients with Parkinson’s disease. I am an active member of Parkinsonnet network in which we sometimes hold multidisciplinary consultations.
In 2018 I completed the in-depth course for headaches and since the beginning of 2020 I can also call myself a sleep therapist.
I can use this knowledge for a tailored-made treatment for problems and pain complaints for day and night!
I work at Sens Beweegt je as a remedial therapist trained in the Cesar method and children’s remedial therapist at the locations Airbornelaan and Strijp-S in Veldhoven and I also work in Vessem The beauty of my profession is the challenge to encourage and motivate people to healthy physical activity and to help lessen pain symptoms. Other than that, my passion for the field is found in children’s remedial therapy.
I enjoy working with children because every child is unique. I feel challenged to find a working method for every child to encourage and motivate them to realise their potential, keeping enjoyment of the activity the top priority.
In 2018 I graduated as a Cesar remedial therapist and first followed my passion for travel. After this I worked as a therapist in Gemert for six months and I can now proudly say that I belong to the Sens beweegt je team.
The great thing about this profession is to teach people how their body works and how they can tackle the complaint themselves. I take on a coaching role in this.
As a remedial therapist I look for the cause of the complaints and why complaints persist.
I also see many people who want to improve their posture, suffer less from stress and become more vital. Guiding people is the best thing there is for me.
Besides Cesar remedial therapist, I am also a chronic pain therapist and I am a member of the network chronic pain. People who have been told that they have to learn to live with their pain, that it is between the ears, offering people who do not yet feel heard a listening ear, that is what motivates me. And to let them experience that they can do much more than they used to think.
I have been working as an (occupational) remedial therapist Mensendieck since 1987 with the view that every person has the power to deal with their symptoms and problems themselves. In 2012, I graduated as an occupational, organisational and health psychologist and I believe people make the difference in an organisation.
My challenge is to offer people the tools, and to motivate and encourage them, to reduce their own symptoms and to learn to manage their problems. Healthy employees make a healthy organisation. This allows people to become healthy and stay healthy. I take on this challenge full of energy and enthusiasm. My strength lies in my large body of knowledge of both the physical and mental causes of absenteeism and my empathic ability. I try to hear what is hidden behind the spoken words by listening extremely closely.
My name is Kine and I am a physiotherapist. I am originally from Norway and ended up here in 2009 for my physiotherapy training.
In addition to regular posture and movement therapy, I also like to work with breathing.
My passion for the profession is mainly in the area of relaxation and breathing. I work with the ‘van Dixhoorn’ method and other methods as well. You can contact me if you are suffering from hyperventilation, anxiety or other core problems in the field of breathing or relaxation, but of course also for muscle and skeletal issues. I also enjoy working with pregnant women and new mothers.
I have been working as a Cesar remedial therapist since 1990. From the beginning of 2021 I am part of the team of Sens beweegt je and I am working at the Strijp-S location.
Movement is my passion. It gives me satisfaction to give people insight into their own movement and complaints, so that they can exert optimal influence on this themselves. This results in a reduction of complaints for a longer period of time. You can become your own therapist.
Over the years I have gained extensive experience regarding pregnancy related (pelvic) complaints. There is a lot to offer in the field of exercise therapy around pregnancy and recovery after childbirth. It is rewarding work to be able to guide women during this special period.
In addition, I have studied the treatment of osteoarthritis complaints and dizziness complaints.
