Breathing therapy

With breathing and relaxation therapy you learn more about your breathing in relation to the maintenance of your complaints. We determine whether you can relax more and experience fewer physical or mental complaints by making your breathing more functional.
We use various exercises such as breathing, movement or attention exercises.
Sometimes (hyper) focus on the breath can amplify the complaints. In the beginning, we shift the emphasis more to relaxation and see whether this makes the breathing pattern more natural and causes less disruption.
The goal of respiratory therapy is to ensure that breathing becomes as natural as possible and that you feel good about yourself.

Biofeedback
At Sens you move it is possible to map and practice your breathing very precisely using biofeedback equipment. We can then measure breathing, timing, heart rate, etc. during various activities. It is also possible to do a stress test before and after a period of breathing therapy to experience what it does to you in an objective way.
