Bekkenklachten
Bekkenklachten ontstaan vaak bij te lang zitten of staan en bij bukken of tillen. Het bekken heeft aan de achterzijde aan weerszijden van de wervelkolom twee SI-gewrichten welke een veelvoorkomende bron van pijnklachten zijn in de lage rug. Het SI-gewricht kan soms te beweeglijk zijn (bijvoorbeeld na zwangerschap) wat leidt tot bekkeninstabiliteit. Het SI-gewricht kan ook geblokkeerd zijn wat een bekkenscheefstand tot gevolg kan hebben.
We treat
Met orthopedische manuele therapie kunnen wij klachten goed behandelen door het bekken manueel te stabiliseren of juist in beweging te brengen. Bewegen, met name lopen, geeft ook vermindering van de klachten.
