Stress @ work is for employees who want to know more about stress, who want to make their own stress measurable and who want to manage negative stress and prevent it in the future. Stress @ work is there for employees who are fully or partially employed or who reintegrate into work. Stress @ work is for employees dealing with stress-related complaints. These can be signs in the field of physical complaints such as headache, stomach pain, palpitations, muscle pain and physical fatigue or lethargy. It can also include psychological complaints such as worrying, forgetfulness, nervousness, high breathing, feelings of fear, negative feelings and thoughts, not being able to enjoy themselves anymore. Stress @ work is also for employees who have to deal with behavioral complaints if they do their best even more, constantly walk on your toes, withdraw from social contacts, verbally excessive react in an irritated way, start smoking, drink or eat excessively or no longer eat enough good food. People who experience excessive stress tend to carry on at their own expense. 1b] Individual conversations
- Our goal is to prepare you as well as possible for the practical steps you will be taking, so therefore we will send everyone an intake form asking some personal questions, prior to the training. The formulation of the learning objectives will be done during a personal conversation.
- In case of old grief, conflict situations and differences, practical situations are collected and prepared for the group training. In a safe setting, we will look at what additional support someone needs to beable to continue the training. Depending on the situation, 1-3 conversations could become a part of the training.
Training 2: Floor TGC
How do you keep communicating in a non-violent way when things get tough?
- Basic attitude: empathy as a starting point towards yourself and others
- Identify underlying needs: listen openly and empathetically
- Taking responsibility for your own feelings: converting expectations into requests
- From meerkat, mole or jackal to cat, dog or giraffe; create connection in conflicting situations
- Connective negotiating: looking for win-win situations instead of the compromise.
